Ms. Donna

Ms. Donna suffers from sickle cell anemia and has struggled to make home repairs on her own due to health and financial limitations. Shingles were coming off of her roof, water was coming into her home due to the roof leaks, and the bathroom floor was beginning to cave in! She didn't know where to turn and called Rebuilding Together Tulsa.

Ms. Paula

Ms. Paula her son had been trying to fix up their home on their own but did not have the physical and financial abilities to complete the repairs. The bathroom was unfinished and Ms Paula couldn't take a shower there because the walls were unfinished. She recently had knee surgery and was in need of a higher toilet and safety modifications to make her home a safe place to age in place. Read Ms. Paula's story here.

Ms. Mary

Ms. Bessie

Ms.Bessie is 85 years old and has lived in her home for 26 years. She loves to bake and welcomes friends into her home with open arms. A surgery for a brain tumor, a back surgery and joint problems have made it difficult for her to get around her home on her own. She uses a walker and assistance from a healthcare provider.
